1 Navigate to the DET Portal (https://portal.det.nsw.edu.au)	2 Enter your username and password. Click on “Logon”
3 Click on “I Agree” to enter the Portal	4 Click on the tab “My Applications”

5 Click on the link to “Account Management”	6 Select “User Management”

7 Select the “Search” button. If you know the exact user name, you can type it in and choose “Display”	8 Change the search option to the “Student” list.
9 Type in the student’s first or last name – then click on “Search” Choose the student from the list displayed.	10 You can then reset the student’s password.
